Five years after her tragic death, Clueless star Brittany Murphys life will be commemorated onscreen.

The Hollywood Reporter claims Lifetime will air a two-hour special called The Brittany Murphy Story about the King of the Hill star’s unexpected death at just 32-years-old.

Actress Amanda Fulleris set to play Murphy during her teen years as she began to make her mark in Hollywood.

The film was reportedly made without the consent and cooperation of Brittany’s mother Shannon, with whom the actress lived at the time of her death.

The movie follows Murphy’s early attempt to break into showbiz, her mother’s potentially aggressive determination to make her daughter a star, and the bombshell claims made by her father, Angelo Bertolotti.

Bertolotti maintained that his daughter had a large amount of metals in her system at the time of her death, leading him to believe that she had been poisoned.

Sharon Murphy refuted the claims, saying “We will never know for sure. However, we do know the Los Angeles County Coroner did extensive tests and found that she died of natural causes. And now she is a real living angel in heaven.”

The Brittany Murphy Story premieres September 6th on Lifetime.
