Over the last half-decade, in between writing and producing for hitmakers like One Direction (“Story of my Life,” “You & I,” “More Than This”), Christina Perri featuring Ed Sheeran, Ron Sexsmith, Enrique Iglesias, Marsha Ambrosius and making waves with his Northern soul/indie-pop project Graffiti6 – singer/songwriter Jamie Scott began working on a batch of intensely personal songs sparked by his recently becoming a father and husband.

Jamie will be playing the album acoustically when he joins his old friends One Direction for several dates this summer, including their three Rose Bowl shows in Pasadena, CA. He will also hit the road with One Republic beginning August 13th!

Scott is debuting the an in-studio acoustic version of his song “Unbreakable” which was recorded with just one mic and in one take.

Jamie said of the 1M1T video of “Unbreakable”, when I recorded this video, there was a moment I knew I had made the right decision recording this song myself. It was the first time my baby boy Dylan watched me perform at the Capitol Tower. I really think this song can relate to any relationship.”

“Unbreakable” was the only song that was demoed by other artists but Jamie keep it for himself. He loved it that much.

His album, My Hurricane will be released digitally via Virgin Records on October 7th. You can pre-order the album on iTunes now!
