The reality TV duo have been facing marital problems even since news that Hank had an affair with transexual model, Ava London, broke. In a recent interview on Beyond Candid With Giuliana Rancic, Kendra admits she is willing to forgive her spouse for his infidelity.
“I cannot shut this man down. I’m willing to spend the rest of my life trying to figure this out rather than spend one night single,” the former Girls Next Door star says, adding she is going to therapy with her husband to help them sort out their issues.
Kendra also gets teary-eyed when discussing her lack of support for Hank during his transition from football player to stay-at-home dad. Confessing that their competitive nature of their relationship took a problematic turn as they both faced personal struggles, the mom-of-two says, “I’d go, ‘Oh get over it, you’re a guy, you’re a man. Do you see this pregnant ass? Do you see what I’m going through?”
Ultimately, Kendra admits she wants her family to stick together.
“Little Hank is at the age when my dad left,” she says, referring to her eldest child. “The last thing I want on my kid is a broken home.”
News of Hank’s affair first reached Kendra when she received a phone call from her agent five weeks after giving birth to Hank’s daughter, Alijah Mary Baskett. After flushing her wedding ring down the toilet, the reality star sought out legal council from a divorce lawyer — even admitting to one particular attorney that her “marriage is down the drain.”
Fans can tune in to the latest drama on the third season of Kendra On Top, which premieres Oct. 3 at 10/9c on WEtv.
