The 31-year-old actress starred opposite to Meryl Streep in the 2006 film and when asked about the experience she revealed Steep went method for her Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning role as editor Miranda Priestly on the dramedy.
“When I met her she gave me a huge hug,” Hathaway said of meeting the legendary actress, “and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, we are going to have the best time on this movie,’ and then she’s like, ‘Ah sweetie, that’s the last time I’m nice to you.'”
“She then went into her trailer and came out the ice queen and that was really the last I saw of ‘Meryl’ for months, until we promoted the film,” she remembered.
Still, the Les Miserables star said Streep is “the most amazing, warm person” and that she would “love” to do a sequel for the film.
“Wouldn’t that be fun? I’d love to do that, but I don’t know if there is any plan for it,” Hathaway said.
Totally switching gears, here is a fun fact little fact about Anne — she believe in aliens.
Speaking to The Mail on Sunday newspaper, Hathaway said: ”I’ve never had any problem with the idea that there is other life in the universe.
”Does that life look exactly like us? Probably not. In fact, I couldn’t even imagine what these other life forms might look like, or what set of values they might hold or knowledge they might understand.”
She continued: ”I’ve always thought it’s highly unlikely there’s nothing out there. I certainly don’t struggle to believe that they exist.”
