Following Gaga’s shocking revelation on The Howard Stern Show, in which the Mother Monster opened up about being sexually assault by an older man when she was just 19, Geragos tweeted out a link to the “Born This Way” singer’s rape story with the caption, “Guess who the rapists was?”
When a Twitter user asked the attorney if he was referring to someone currently involved in Kesha’s lawsuit against Dr. Luke for sexual, physical, verbal and emotional abuse, Geragos responded with the hashtags, “#ohyes” and “#namethepervert.” He later replied “#bingo” when someone guessed Lukasz Gottwald, which so happened to be Dr. Luke’s birth name.
But the drama doesn’t stop there.
Gaga’s rep told TMZ that Geragos’ accusations are completely false, explaining, “It’s absolutely not true … The Dr. Luke lawsuit is utterly incomprehensible. This simply isn’t true and how dare someone take advantage of such a sensitive matter.”
A spokesperson for Dr. Luke was also quick to come to the defense, releasing a statement reading, “Mark Geragos’ statement is completely false and defamatory. Luke met Lady Gaga twice for less than half an hour total in those two meetings combined. He has never been alone with her and never touched her. Neither meeting was in that time frame reported.”
According to TMZ, Geragos now plans to depose Gaga in Kesha’s sexual assault lawsuit against Dr. Luke. He also claims to know three other women who are “not as famous” that have had a similar experiences to Kesha.
