Wearing a bright orange skirt and white belly-baring sleeveless top, the American Idol judge looked enviously chic.
Also in attendance and looking fabulous were Taraji P. Henson of the newest hit show Empire, Mindy Kaling of The Mindy Project, and producer Lee Daniels, notably wearing a baby blue polka-dot pajama inspired ensemble!
Lopez’s calf-length skirt and white silk top ensemble is seriously chic, and she looked fly as hell pairing it with black high heeled pumps, gold hoop earrings, intense orange eye makeup and her hair tied back into a ponytail.
Joined by American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and fellow judges Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban, Lopez and co. had a Q&A for their hit singing competition TV show to discuss the changes happening on the show, since the last original judge Randy Jackson made his departure and Scott Borchetta, who discovered Taylor Swift and founded Big Machine Records, is replacing him as mentor.
Most recently on American Idol, the 45-year-old was moved to tears by the performance of 22-year-old Hollywood Anderson, a homeless man who performs in NYC’s subway stations (NYC is also Lopez’s hometown).
Anderson performed his original emotional song, as Jennifer teared up saying, “Yo, sing it bubby! You felt it, I felt it…I want to record that song tomorrow. But I don’t want to, I just want to hear you sing it.”
The 14th season just kicked off Jan. 7 and airs on Fox Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8/7c.
