Don’t mess with the Bey if you don’t want to get stung.
Kid Rock learned this the hard way when he gave a less-than-stellar review of Beyoncé in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, in which he told the publication that he’s absolutely “flabbergasted” that the “Drunk in Love” singer is even famous. He went on to explain that he doesn’t understand “Beyoncé worship” and questioned her credibility as an artist by comparing her music to hits such as Prince‘s “Purple Rain.”
“Beyoncé, to me, doesn’t have a fucking ‘Purple Rain,’ but she’s the biggest thing on Earth,” Kid Rock said. “How can you be that big without at least one ‘Sweet Home Alabama‘ or ‘Old Time Rock and Roll?'”
He continued, “People are like, ‘Beyoncé’s hot. Got a nice fucking ass.’ I’m like, ‘Cool, I like skinny white chicks with big tits.’ Doesn’t really fucking do much for me.”
Naturally, the Beyhive caught a whiff of this insolence and descended upon the rapper’s social media accounts like a colony of actual angry bees protecting their queen, flooding both Instagram and Twitter with bee emojis, hateful messages and even death threats for the Detroit native.
Here’s just a sampling of what was said about Kid Rock’s diss for the 20-time Grammy winner.

You're VERY sexist. Go to sleep at night knowin Beyoncé, a Black WOMAN, did more just in 2013 than you have w/ your whole career @KidRock

Kid Rock lowkey seems racist to me bc he attacked Beyoncé and President Obama & then became some kind of soldier advocate.

Isn't Kid Rock racist? Yeah….I doubt Bey would be interested in that trailer trash anyway.

Kid Rock is a racist asshole. What he said was very unnecessary. He didn't have to say what he said.
