Harrison Ford is reportedly injured after the small plane he was flying crashed on a golf course in Los Angeles on Thursday, (March 5, 2015).

According to TMZ, a plane piloted by Ford crash-landed on Penmar Park golf course in Venice, Calif. The 72-year-old actor was reportedly flying a vintage two-seater fighter plane when he crashed.

Ford is alive, but he was reportedly bleeding and had multiple gashes to head. Two doctors were at the golf course at the time and helped Ford after the crash. Paramedics arrived soon after the crash and took Ford to the hospital.

There’s no word on why the plane crashed, but it’s clear that something went wrong.

The LA Fire Department said that they won’t confirm that it’s Ford, but that the injured pilot was transported to the hospital in “fair to moderate condition.” The pilot was also said to be “alert” and had “moderate injuries.” He left the scene “conscious” and “breathing.”

Ford has been a pilot for many years. He survived a scary helicopter crash in 1999 in Santa Clarita, Calif.
