Giuliana Rancic is calling out an old Hollywood flame for his two-timing ways.
In her new book, Going Off Script, the Fashion Police host claims ex-boyfriend Jerry O’Connell had cheated on her with two different women some time between 2003 and 2004 when they were dating. According to Rancic, who was known as Giuliana DePandi at the time, O’Connell had a fling with Spice Girls’ Geri Halliwell before moving on to his future wife, Rebecca Romijn.
“I was being two-timed for one of the lesser Spices?” Rancic writes, according to Page Six, adding that O’Connell kind of brushed her off when confronted. “‘Yeah, I know. I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened.’ He had as much emotion as the customer-service representative who tells you your bags missed the flight.”
Rancic and O’Connell first met at the W Hotel in San Diego before dating. At the time, the two were allegedly talking about marriage before Rancic found out about her boyfriend’s infidelities.
In one passage, the E! correspondent alleges that the actor was flirting with Romijn in the other room when they attended Maxim‘s 100 Hottest Women party in 2004.
She pens, “Little did I know he was in the VIP area, talking up Rebecca. As a prelude to feeling up Rebecca.”
A week after the star-studded bash, Rancic says she showed up to O’Connell’s home to confront him, but was refused entry into the actor’s house at the gate.
“Nope. Sorry, homegirl,’ Rancic recalls O’Connell telling her over the intercom before breaking up with her. “Things change, but you take care, OK?”
