Sofia Vergara has been such a hit on Modern Family, she’s now getting her own show: a reality series that will debut on Snapchat.
Yes, Variety reports the 42-year-old actress is the star of a short form reality show called Vergaraland — a tongue-in-cheek look at her career through her 24-year-old son Manolo González Vergara‘s perspective.
Sofia said in a statement:“Manolo finally graduated, and I am very happy for his alliance with Fusion to create such an innovative series.”
Joe Manganiello‘s soon-to-be wife is co-producing the series with Fusion, a joint venture of ABC News and Univision Communcations that aims to reach a millennial audience. On of the ways they intend to reach that audience is through Snapchat. In fact, Fusion is among the media companies that launched on the Snapchat Disocver service in January, allowing partners post video and content stories that are available for 24 hours.
Vergaraland will be shot to fit Snapchat’s vertical video format and should debut this summer.
Here’s to hoping we get a little insight on Sofia’s upcoming wedding!
