Amy Schumer being Amy Schumer doesn’t easily get offended… But when you call her Trainwreck character – who was loosely based off herself – “skanky,” she’s not going to let you off too easy.

Amy Schumer slams slut-shamers for Kaitlyn Bristowe.

In one horribly awkward interview with Australia’s KIIS 101.1‘s Matt Tilley, the 34-year-old comedienne proved she can brilliantly handle herself in any situation.

The beginning of the interview started off relatively well, but took a turn (around the 2:00 mark) when Tilley asked, “Do you have the word ‘skanky’ in America?”

An unimpressed Schumer quickly turned the joke on him saying he was thinking about his mother.

“Come on, that’s the character in the movie,” he said. “I’m not trying to offend you.”

But the actress wasn’t having it. “Whatever you are trying to do, you are [doing]. That’s a rude question,” she quipped.

And it only got worse from there. Later on (at the 4:20 mark) Tilley suggests Trainwreck centers on a woman who ultimately will do anything for a man and that eclipses everything else in her life. Once again, Schumer found herself offended by his judgment and misunderstanding of the film.

“I think you’re wrong,” she said. “I think the point is that she realizes she’s hurting herself and the people around her.”

Finally, as the interview begins to wrap, Tilley asked about Schumer’s future plans to which she responded with the most sarcasm: “I want to do whatever I have to do to get another interview with you again.”
