Gordon’s legal team is firing back in response to a lawsuit from Brown’s co-conservator filed on Sept. 8 that accuses Gordon of providing Bobby Brown‘s daughter with a “toxic cocktail rendering her unconscious” that caused her eventual brain damage. His lawyers state in legal documents obtained by Us Weekly that the lawsuit contains “several unsupported conclusory, untrue, criminal accusations that Defendant Nicholas Gordon committed acts that he simply did not do”.
Gordon’s attorneys concede that Bobbi Kristina’s partner admits to the parties that occurred that evening, the couple’s argument, and his change of clothing after reviewing video footage, but deny that he provided the 22-year-old with any “toxic cocktail”. They also deny that he physically abused Brown by knocking her teeth out and dragging her up the stairs by her hair.
His attorney Jose Baez told USA Today, “The recent lawsuit against Nick is slanderous and meritless. Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it’s shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly.”
“Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most.”
