Sean “Diddy” Combs has been named Forbes‘ No.1 Cash King of 2015, beating out Jay Z, Drake, and Dr. Dre. According to their report, Diddy earned $60 million over the past year, inclusive of revenue from touring, record sales, streaming, publishing, merchandise sales, endorsements and other business ventures.
Diddy’s empire is built on several franchises including his TV network Revolt, Sean John apparel, Aquahydrate alkaline water, and Ciroc vodka. His forthcoming album No Way Out 2 is sure to be the monetary cherry on top.
Serena Williams‘ plaything comes in at number three ringing in $39.5 million, playing 50 concerts over the qualifying period that brought in an average of $1 million per night. Drake told Forbes in 2013 that making this ranking is on his to-do list every year.
“If I’m not on your list this year, I’d be gravely disappointed.”
Rounding out the top five is Dr. Dre with $33 million and Pharrell with $32 million.
