Chris Brown will be gracing Vegas with his presence for a short while, and could be in it for the long haul.
The rapper may not be able to perform in Australia, but who needs to go “down under” when you’ve got Sin City on your side?
According to TMZ, Brown will be doing a ten-show trial run at Drai’s, where he’s already been performing for a while now. He’ll be making a mere $50,000 a concert (or possibly more, TMZ insinuates), unlike Britney Spears, for example, who reportedly makes around $475,000 a show at Planet Hollywood, where she’s under contract for another two years. Drai’s is apparently impressed by Brown’s ability to give a good show that they’re testing him out for a long-term contract.
Trey Songz is also part of this deal, and will rotate with Brown.
The 26-year-old recently wrapped his One Hell of a Nite tour with Kid Ink, Omarion, Fetty Wap, Teyana Taylor and some other guests. He’s scheduled to perform at Drai’s on Oct. 3 in celebration of his mother Joyce Hawkins’ birthday, but otherwise has remained mum on his new short-term deal.
He notoriously took a tumble off stage at Drai’s earlier this year.
