Scott Disick is turning over a new leaf after all.
The reality star, who ditched rehab only after one week earlier this year, is reportedly taking his treatment for drug and alcohol addiction “really seriously” this time around. Since checking into Cliffside Malibu in California just three weeks ago, the 32-year-old is said to be sticking to his rehabilitation program.
“Scott’s doing really well. He sounds happy, clean and clearheaded,” a source tells E! News.
“I think he took it really seriously this time. He took a real break from work and partying to focus on himself,” the insider says. “He hasn’t sounded this good in ages. He says he’s feeling great.”
As previously reported, Disick has been doing so well that his ex-girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, has even allowed their children — Mason, five; Penelope, four; and Reign, 10 months — to visit him in the treatment facility. According recent reports, Disick is trying to sober up so Kardashian, 36, would allow him to see their kids after their split this July.
“Kourtney has no plans to take Scott back,” a source recently told People. “He is doing well in rehab, and Kourtney is happy that he is finally being serious about his sobriety. She is pleased that he is taking care of himself for the kids’ sake — that he cares enough about the kids to finally deal with his problems. Kourtney will continue to be supportive as long as Scott stay in rehab. There are talks about at least 90 days.”
This is Disick’s forth stint in rehab. In 2014, Scott was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning while partying in the Hamptons. This March, Scott checked himself into rehab for addiction issues, but left the facility only after one week of treatment.
