Oscar hopefuls and future Chris Pratt co-stars, take note.
From her love of reality TV to her paycheck, Jennifer Lawrence has been extremely candid about the important things in life. Her recent participation in The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Actress Roundtable was no different. In the sit-down, which also included honest revelations about Hollywood from Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett,Jane Fonda, Carey Mulligan, Brie Larson, Helen Mirren and Charlotte Rampling, JLaw reveals who she acts for (“my agent”), what she would’ve become instead of an actress (a nurse) and of course the gender pay gap.
All that aside, the most-talked about highlight from the roundtable seems to be about JLaw her sex scene with Chris Pratt, which was recently filmed for their sci-fi romance Passengers. According to the Oscar winner, the experience was anything but sexy.
“It was weird,” she tells her fellow actresses. “And everything was done right; nobody did anything wrong. It’s just a bizarre experience.”
When asked how she prepared for the close-up, JLaw had this to say:
“I got really, really drunk. But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, ‘What have I done? I don’t know.’ And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that. So I called my mom, and I was like, ‘Will you just tell me it’s OK?’ It was just very vulnerable. And you don’t know what’s too much. You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then … That was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been.”
And just when you thought it was not possible to love the girl more…
Passengers is due in theaters in December 2016.
