Worst birthday present ever!
E! news confirms the couple has reportedly called it quits. They’ve been dating since October 2014, but didn’t publicly come out with their relationship until August 2015, when the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star turned 18 (i.e. legal).
As you know, Kylie and sister Kendall were in Australia promoting their fashion line Kendall+Kylie this week. When Kylie returned on Thursday, she called things off with the rapper because of “something Tyga did,” a source tells TMZ. The source wouldn’t specify what, but Kylie’s decision reportedly also comes from “pressure from the Kardashians.”
Their split was “sudden and nasty,” writes TMZ, and apparently last night while Kylie was at dinner, she was “upset and had hard words about Tyga.”
So what did Tyga do…?
Another insider told E!, “They are on a break. They were just a week or so ago talking about ‘ever after’ and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by her self and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that’s his one and only lady.”
Meanwhile, Tyga was out celebrating his 26th birthday last night at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood before moving the party to 1Oak nightclub. Attendees included everyone from A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa, Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio.
No one from Team Kardashian or Jenner attended and furthermore, fans quickly noticed that Jenner wasn’t by his side, nor was she active on social media (which, you know, is her other reality). That means no Instagram or Twitter birthday wishes for her beau.
According to sources close to Tyga, “he’s devastated” and denies “doing anything” at all.
Just last week, the couple were spotted having an intimate dinner date together. Earlier this week, Kylie opened up about her love life on her website, commenting, “I’ve always been a relationship girl.” She wrote:
Living in the spotlight, people think they know everything about me—but they don’t. I’ve never believed in the idea of the public knowing everything about my relationship and every time I break up and make up.
She echoed the same sentiments in Elle Canada earlier this month, in which she said, “Your fans get too invested, and then they know when you break-up and make-up. I don’t want people to know every time we fight or break up, so I’d rather keep some things private.”
Perhaps this is one of those moments, and their break-up will soon transpire into a make-up.
The duo previously had a mishap in their relationship back in July when the “Rack City” rapper was accused of cheating on the youngest Jenner with transexual model Mia Isabella, and his nude dick pics surfaced online.
