From horror story to fairy tale.

Lady Gaga was awarded her first Golden Globe for the Best Actress in a Limited Series, Series or Motion Picture for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel. She smooched creator Ryan Murphy, then her fiancé Taylor Kinney before taking the stage to accept her statuette.

Starstruck, she began, “I feel like Cher in that John Patrick Shanley film Moonstruck right now.”

Gaga thanked her AHS co-stars for helping her “shine” and reminded the viewers of her long path to recognition for her acting abilities.

“I wanted to be an actress before I wanted to be a singer, but music just worked out first.”
