“We received the only praise, from the only source.”
Lena Dunham stopped by The Late Night Show with Seth Meyers, to talk about her feminist newsletter “Lenny Letter,” but what began as a nod to her impressive list of contributors ended up being a Khloe Kardashian love fest. A few weeks ago, Kardashian reached out to Dunham on Twitter to tell her how much she loved the newsletter and Dunham along with Lenny co-creator Jenni Konner literally freaked the eff out.
“It meant to much to us because we both love her app,” Dunham revealed. “She is the best Kardashian,” Konner gushed before Dunham added, “By the way, that’s not throwing Kardashian shade, she’s just for us, she’s the peak Kardashian experience.”
Luckily for Dunham, the love is mutual. Just last week Kardashian dubbed Dunham her #WomanCrushWednesday.
And for those of you who think Dunham’s feminist ways don’t align with Kardashian’s brand, Dunham’s here to tell you you’ve got it all wrong. People will be like, those Kardashians aren’t what you represent and we’re like, they’re awesome entrepreneurs who are all about sisterhood and connection so yeah, it is.”
