Because Game of Thrones simply can’t release enough promotional materials for season six, they gave fans a fresh piece of amazingness today.
The marketing team behind the hit HBO show posted a tour of Westeros and Essos from the opening credits on their Facebook page. But get this, it’s not just a tour, it’s a 360-degree exploration of the show’s setting, which you can (somewhat) control.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the project was a collaboration between HBO, Facebook, Oculus and Elastic (the people who designed the show’s opening sequence). You can soar over King’s Landing! Swoop around Meereen! And peek over the wall. It’s thrilling, but might induce motion sickness. Ye been warned!
