“What are you going to say at my funeral now that you’ve killed me? Here lies the writer of my life who I killed without a gun to my head.”
Beyoncé‘s sixth studio album Lemonade is empowering as hell but is it too empowering? Well, whether or not anything can be too empowering is up for debate, but Lemonade has definitely caused a power shift at Late Night with Seth Meyers. Last night (Apr. 28, 2016), host Seth Meyers revealed he can notice the effect the album’s had on the women in his staff.
To give viewers an idea of exactly what he was dealing with, Meyers shared a video of what happens behind the scenes at Late Night. The women of Late Night have begun dressed exclusively in Lemonade inspired clothing, and walking around with “Hot Sauce” in their bags. One staffer even goes as far as to smash Meyer’s window in, calling him a “bitch boy,” while another keeps her “middle fingers up.”
