Drake and Rihanna shared tributes to honor the life of a teenage fan who lost her battle with cancer on Saturday (July 9, 2016).

The Make-a-Wish Foundation connected Megan Flores, a 14-year-old fan that was diagnosed with a progressive metastasized sarcoma, in a meeting with Rihanna and Drake in March after a show in Miami. Drake later dedicated his album Views to Flores, writing in the liner notes, “this body of work is dedicated to Megan Flores. I pray for your well-being every day.”

Both artists paid homage to Flores’ life on social media after she passed away on Saturday due to her cancer.

“Rest in peace my angel,” Drake wrote in the caption of the Instagram photo below. “I know heaven is celebrating today. Thank you for the moments and emotions we share I am blessed to have known you in this lifetime.”

Rihanna shared a post of her own, writing in her Instagram‘s caption, “I had the pleasure of meeting an angel on earth! … There was always a smile waiting for me there! You brightened any day! Rest up baby girl! We will miss you!”
