Justin Bieber proved that he absolutely does not give a fuck about Beliebers’ feelings when he savagely turned down a fan’s polite request for a hug during a recent event to promote apparel supporting his Purpose World Tour.
In a video that surfaced online, a girl approached the “Sorry” singer as he walked around his new pop-up store at Barneys New York. Without missing a beat, Bieber bluntly rejected the teen asking for a hug with a firm “No,” before continuing to stroll around the shop. He gave no reasons as to why he was turning her down.
Clearly shocked, the fan quickly retreated to her group of friends. Perhaps what’s worse was that Bieber then retraced his steps and walked back to where the female fan was, only peruse a nearby rack of clothes on display. (So basically, Bieber thinks a pair of $100 sweatpants is more interesting than an actual being.)
Bieber’s clothing collection is available at Barneys New York flagships in New York City, Beverly Hills and San Francisco as well as one its official website. The line, which includes flannel shirts and a pullover that read “no Photos,” ranges in price from $95 to $1,675.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Bieber has denied his fans’ affections. Aside from enforcing a ban on all selfies, Bieber recently told a concertgoer that “I probably don’t want that shit” after someone had thrown their hat onstage for him.
