Kesha Announces North American Tour Following Sexual Abuse Case Against Dr. Luke

Following her sexual abuse case against Dr. Luke, Kesha has announced that she’ll be embarking on a small tour this summer on which she’ll be performing new music for the first time years.

“We’re going on a tour,” she says in a new video shared on her Instagram. “I’m playing songs you’ve never heard me play before and I may never play again — only a couple of shows.”

According to Bandsintown, a concert discovery and ticketing app, Kesha’s tour is slated to run July 23 to October 1. The schedule includes stops in Las Vegas, Brooklyn, Chicago, Los Angeles with one singular Canadian date. (Spoiler alert: It’s actually in Windsor, Ontario!)

The forthcoming tour follows Kesha’s sexual abuse case against former mentor Dr. Luke, which halted her career after Sony refused to end the singer’s recording contract with her alleged abuser’s label, Kemosabe Records. The case was dismissed on April 6.

Since then, Kesha made an appearance during DJ Zedd‘s set at Coachella before performing in a mini residency in Las Vegas.
