Jennifer Lawrence is moving on and finally selling off the place she lived in before she had hit it big.
The Oscar winner just parted ways with her two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home for $1.15 million, according to Tulia. Located off a residential street in Santa Monica, the starter digs, which Lawrence bought for $879,000, had been occupied by the Hunger Games actress since 2006.
Measuring at just 1,413 square feet, the townhouse features an open living room with a fireplace, a kitchen furnished with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, a separate dining area that opens up to a private patio, and a spacious master bedroom and en-suite bathroom complete with his-and-hers sinks. Fittingly for a foodie like Lawrence, the property is also a stone’s throw away from a Whole Foods Market and a Cold Stone Creamery.
However, this humble abode is chump change compared to the place Lawrence is living in these days. In 2014, the 25-year-old dropped $7 million on a five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom house in Beverly Hills. According to her, the swanky pad’s previous owners include Ellen DeGeneres and Jessica Simpson.
“It’s like the neighborhood whore,” she told Extra in 2014. “I was outside and some girl was like ‘I grew up in this house.’ Beat it kid. Everybody’s lived in this house.”
The luxury estate is said to have its own home gym, gourmet kitchen, and a pond full of Koi fish in the backyard. Not quite like her old apartment, no?
