In perfect timing with New York Fashion Week, the actress released “goop Label”, which was inspired by pieces from her own wardrobe. Now our dream of dressing like the style icon herself is easier than ever.
“I wanted to create product that is incredibly high quality and delivered at a great value,” said Paltrow. “I think there’s a huge white space in the market for luxurious ready-to-wear at a direct-to-consumer price.”
Paltrow went on to say that it was important to her to make the clothes, “with beautifully loomed fabrics, incredible tailoring, and incredible attention to detail,” in the same way that all of her “favorite designer clothing is made.”
Monthly, goop intends to produce and release a set five seasonal basics, but these pieces will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
On Sept. 12, 2016, this month’s pieces will be available for purchase. So if you want to get in on the action, make sure to buy the items before they sell out!
In 2008, goop was still a work in progress. The lifestyle brand began as a weekly newsletter that slowly blossomed into one of the trendiest celebrity creations to date. Earlier this year, goop debuted its premiere skincare collection to the masses. Now, loyal fans of goop and the actress can be treated to this classically chic clothing line.
Although the goop empire is expanding before our eyes, Paltrow will continue to release the brand’s weekly newsletter. In the meantime, mark down the Sept. 12 release date in your calendars so you don’t miss out!
