Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their adorable children – Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 16 months – to an outdoor party on Thursday (Sept. 29, 2016) in Victoria, British Columbia, and we can’t even.
The Cambridge family went to a party for the children of Canadian military families held on the grounds of British Columbia’s Government House, and judging from the pics (Petting Zoo! Bubbles! Balloon animals!), fun was had by all.
Children’s entertainer and master balloon shaper Paul Kilshaw told the UK’s Mirror, “It was totally over the top. I made a teddy bear and a flower for Charlotte and made George a tree and a volcano.”
Kilshaw added, “At first George wasn’t interested in getting one until Charlotte was getting one, then he was right over. He wanted what she had… George especially asked for a volcano and he was very proud to tell me all about volcanos.”
Per the Daily Mail, Charlotte also said her first word in public: “Pop!” As in bubbles AND balloons, we’d imagine.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: “The Duke and Duchess are really pleased to have this opportunity to introduce their children to Canada and it’s great that they have the chance to play with other children while they are here.”
