Amber Rose isn’t ashamed of her body. (And why should she be?)
The How to Be a Bad Bitch author was seen showing off her curves in a lacy bodysuit when she filmed Dancing with the Stars on Monday night (Oct. 3, 2016). Clad in heels and thigh-high stockings, the mom-of-one shook what her mama gave her when she hit the stage with dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
That same night, Rose apologized to judge Julianne Hough after accusing her of being a body shamer on her podcast. Despite previously claiming that Hough was “uncomfortable” with seeing Rose’s curvy figure, she backtracked and explained that she misunderstood what the professional dancer was getting at in her critique.
“Like I said in the package, when you said that I felt very embarrassed and I felt like you weren’t talking about the dance. But if I misunderstood, then I apologize. I’m a very positive person, I don’t like to argue or bicker or make things weird,” Rose said on Monday night.
Accepting the apology, Hough then clarified, “I would like to say one thing also. The thing that I love so much about dance is that dance is a universal platform for people to express themselves — any person. Whether that is age or height, body shape, ethnicity, sexual orientation. It is something that people can express themselves to do. And for me, I am a huge supporter of that and that alone. As a judge on this show, I am here to solely judge you and everyone else in this competition for only the dancing. So I want you to know that.”
Rose capped off the night by sharing a photo of her performance this week. Get it, girl!
