Katy Perry admitted kids are “becoming a focus in her life” while attending the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles “Once Upon a Time Gala” over the weekend.
“I see the amazing thing of birth and children and the vulnerability and we just have to take care of them and how, how big of an impression we have,” she told E! News during a conversation about her sister’s kids. “We have such a responsibility!”
“Children to me are becoming a big focus. I don’t even have mine but I see it in my sister’s kids and just how much nurturing and love they need…” she continued.
The singer, who has been dating Orlando Bloom for almost a year, seems more ready than ever to have kids. As it may be, so does her boyfriend, who people are saying is ready to propose. “He would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids. He hasn’t been this serious about a girl since Miranda [Kerr],” a source told People back in August.
Meanwhile, Perry, 31, knows a thing or two about delivering a baby. She helped deliver her sister’s second baby in September and even made it to the studio afterward.
It’s safe to say she’s ready for her own now.
