During her performance, Beyoncé took the time to address the crowd and speak about why she’s supporting Clinton. “I want my daughter to grow up seeing a woman lead our country and know that her possibilities are limitless,” she said. “But we have to vote. The world looks to us as a progressive country that needs change.”
Beyoncé then closed out her her set with a performance of “Run the World (Girls)” before Clinton herself walked out onstage to thank Beyoncé for her support. “I want to thank Beyoncé for standing up and showing the world we are strongest when we look out for each other,” the democratic nominee said.
After the show, Clinton shared a photo on her Instagram of herself hanging out with the couple taken shortly before the performance.
