The spinoff, which is currently being referred to as That’s So Raven 2, will center around Raven-Symoné‘s character as a divorced mother with two kids of her own.
E! reports that Raven Baxter’s daughter will be the one with the ability to see into the future. The character is described as a confident girl who is great at science but who frequently “finds herself in over her head.” Raven’s son Booker, on the other hand, is described “a young Donald Glover type” who is an “unapologetic mama’s boy.”
Although no other details have been revealed — like whether or not any other original That’s So Raven cast members will return — the show will begin production in 2017.
Meanwhile, Symoné, 30, took to Instagram on Monday (Nov. 7, 2016) to share a photo officially welcoming her back “home” to Disney Channel.
