Never one to shy away from a deep conversation, Lady Gaga recently opened up about love and relationships.
Speaking with CBS Sunday Morning on Sunday (Nov. 27, 2016), the songstress didn’t specifically name Taylor Kinney, who she split with this past summer, but instead gave her insights on what being in love means to her.
“I think women love very hard,” Gaga explained. “We love men. We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don’t know that that love is met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with.”
She continued, “You know, we’re not trying to make you less of a man. We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you.”
Gaga also became emotional when she talked about the price of fame. Watch the whole interview above!
Since their breakup, Gaga has maintained that she and the Chicago Fire star are still on very good terms, and that her latest album, Joanne, is inspired by her “personal life.” She toldE! News when her single “Perfect Illusion” was released, “I have said it before—I love Taylor so much and he’s my best friend.”
