Everyone knows that the annual Victoria’s Secret show is a cultural event not just because of the most eye-popping lingerie or the picture-perfect models, but also as a time capsule for the music making waves at the moment. This year, that included rousing performances from the likes of Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd. And now that the fashion show has aired, high-quality recordings of the performances are finally surfacing online!
Clad in a sheer, rose-embroidered gown, Mother Monster sashayed out of a mountainous chasm to flex her pipes for a rendition of “Million Reasons” as some of the world’s most famous models did their thing on the catwalk. Check it out above! Below, see Gaga’s performances of “A-Yo” and “John Wayne,” featuring a show-stopping strut down the catwalk at the end.
Not to be outdone, The Weeknd trotted out his new album’s first single “Starboy” as the winged models showed off the popular brand’s latest designs. His performance also included some touching looks between himself and his former flame Bella Hadid, who was making her debut in the show.
As for Mars, he donned a velvet tux and brought down the house with his throwback R&B hit “24K Magic.” It’s impossible to not get caught up in the groove while watching the Angels dance backstage!
