Ashley Graham isn’t bothered by a little bit of cellulite.
The model, who made history as the first plus-size model to be featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, proudly flaunted the dimples on her butt and thighs in a new body-positive photo on Instagram. Taken during her trip to the Philippines, the picture showed a close of Graham’s bikini body with visible cellulite on her legs.
“I workout. I do my best to eat well. I love the skin I’m in. And I’m not ashamed of a few lumps, bumps or cellulite.. and you shouldn’t be either.#beautybeyondsize #lovetheskinyourein,” she captioned the shot.
Last year, Graham became the first plus-size model to appear on the front of Maxim magazine. Though many accused the publication of overly Photoshopping the 28-year-old’s curves, the America’s Next Top Model judge defended the cover.
“I’m beyond proud to be the first curvy woman on the cover of Maxim. I was not slimmed down on the cover, and Gilles Bensimon did an amazing job capturing my true figure in all of the photos,” she told Celebuzz in a statement. “This is another major advancement for curvy women, especially those who work in the fashion industry who are working hard to get the recognition they deserve. I now encourage more publications and designers to put more diversity on their covers and runways.”
