Mark Zuckerberg‘s family is getting a little bigger again.
The Facebook founder announced on—surprise, surprise—his own social media platform that he was expecting another daughter with wife Priscilla Chan this Thursday (March 9, 2017). In a lengthy post, the 32-year-old gushed about the exciting prospect of a new addition to his clan.
“Priscilla and I are happy to share we’re expecting another baby girl!” Zuckerberg wrote. “After our difficult experience having Max, we weren’t sure what to expect or whether we’d be able to have another child.”
“When Priscilla and I first found out she was pregnant again, our first hope was that the child would be healthy. My next hope was that it would be a girl,” he continued. “I cannot think of a greater gift than having a sister and I’m so happy Max and our new child will have each other.”
Having both grown up with sisters, Zuckerberg and Chan, 32, believe they wouldn’t be where they are today without support from women in their families. “We are all better people because of the the strong women in our lives — sisters, mothers and friends,” Zuckerberg shared. “We can’t wait to welcome our new little one and do our best to raise another strong woman.”
The tech mogul and Chan, a philanthropist and pediatrician, welcomed daughter Maxima in 2015.
