It’s no secret that 90 Day Fiancé‘s Tania Maduro is not a fan-favorite. And her tense relationship with her South African fiance, Syngin Colchester, puts the icing on the (hate) cake. Now, Tania has found herself in at the head of a cheating scandal after viewers criticized her antics on one of the show’s latest episodes.
Tania and Syngin’s relationship has been a bit iffy since Syngin arrived in the U.S. from the South Africa. The couple clashes on everything from kids — Tania doesn’t want to have them right away, while Syngin may not want any at all — to Tania’s decision of going to Costa Rica to attend a monthlong workshop on herbalism and alternative medicines during their 90-day waiting period.
Just recently, the pair’s rocky relationship may have come to head in one of the show’s latest episodes.
The Dec. 22 episode of 90 Day Fiancé has fans dismayed after Tania allegedly flirted with other men in Costa Rica. While Tania stayed in Costa Rica, Syngin lived in her mom’s she-shed back in Connecticut. Syngin revealed to Tania’s mom that he feels neglected by Tania, especially since she hasn’t been returning his calls while she’s been in Costa Rica.
“Even at times when I talk to her, it’s kind of like, she’s also talking to her friends in the background,” Syngin told Tania’s mom. “I just hope she’s not, like, getting cold feet on me or something,” he continued.
But on the other side of the world, things were going differently for Tania. She didn’t shy away from the fun and even dabbled into Costa Rica’s club life and salsa lessons. But it was Tania’s behavior during salsa lessons that has fans mad.
Viewers accused Tania of flirting with her salsa instructor after she called him “good looking.” Not only that, but during the second-to-last episode, Tania admitted that she loves going out with her new friends and didn’t shy away from gushing about “cute guys” at the club while doing her makeup and pregaming with roommates.
