Fans were more than excited about Matt James‘s season of The Bachelor, but lately, they’ve been left wanting more. To be fair, there were a lot of high expectations. Matt’s season featured an extremely diverse cast, takes place in a lovely fall setting, and followed an extremely dramatic season of The Bachelorette.
But just as Matt started getting close to Rachael Kirkconnell, information about her past started to come to light. Former high school classmates accused her of bullying them for dating Black men, and her social media history seems to reflect many racist sentiments.
To no one’s surprise, Rachael has been receiving a great deal of negative attention due to her racist past. And as we now know, she’s one of the top three girls, so Rachael could likely be the winner of this season! If that’s the case, we hope that their relationship is stronger than online gossip.
