Now that’s the move of a dangerous woman! Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson called off their engagement late last month, and while the two have preached nothing but love, it seems like something darker has been lurking under the surface.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past several months, you’ve heard about the sudden end to Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande’s relationship, which seemed to come even faster than their engagement. The pair has seemed to remain cordial, but Ariana’s recent tweet has fans suspecting that there’s some bad blood between the pair.
After Ariana name-dropped Pete in a song featuring all her exes and the comedian asked for some privacy during Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update” segment, it seemed like the drama was cooling off. However, Ariana isn’t putting away her boxing gloves quite yet.
Ari commented on a clickbait article on Instagram, which was entitled “13 tips and tricks for finding the perfect engagement ring (including the popular metal you should actually avoid),” and simply replied, “Don’t.”
Pete had previously admitted that he sent Ariana photos of engagement rings just after they met.
“The day I met her, I was like, ‘Hey, I’ll marry you tomorrow.’ She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, ‘Do you like any of these?’ She was like, ‘Those are my favorite ones,’ and I was like, ‘Sick,'” He told GQ in September.
They confirmed their engagement in June, after having been linked together in May, and called it all off in October. Of course, she returned the $93,000 ring to Pete quickly enough — though she kept their pet pig.
