Britney Spears just brought home a new member of her family! She looks to be overjoyed about the news.
This comes after the mother of two testified in court that the conservatorship was not permitting her reproductive liberty.
“I have an IUD in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby,” Britney claimed in court, adding, “my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out.”
After 13 years of restrictions on her career and lifestyle, a judge ruled to end the conservatorship over the 40-year-old in November.
Did Britney decide to welcome another child now that she is able?
“New addition to the family,” the pop star wrote on her new Instagram post with a shocked emoji.
The caption continued, “Guess if it’s a boy or a girl” with a smiling emoji and the pink ribbon emoji.
“thank you again baby,” she ended the post, tagging @samasghari’s Instagram page.
In the video, she appears to be swaddling and bottle feeding something in a blanket.
Fans in the comments guessed that it might be a kitten or a puppy.
Though Britney seems thrilled with her partner and their life together, she had some choice words in the past on social media for her father and other members of her family that were involved in the conservatorship.
In July, Britney shared a text post on Instagram that read “Take me as I am or kiss my a** eat sh*t and step on legos.” And although that was fairly brash, the caption she added was what had us talking.
“For those of you who choose to criticize my dancing videos…look I’m not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think,” she wrote. “I’ve done that for the past 13 years…I’d much rather share videos YES from my living room instead of onstage in Vegas where some people were so far gone they couldn’t even shake my hand and I ended up getting a contact high from weed all the time.”
She then joked that she didn’t hate the contact high, but she would have liked to take a break every now and then. Britney then opened up about why she decided to quit her Vegas residency.
“And no I’m not gonna put on heavy makeup and try try try on stage again and not be able to do the real deal with remixes of my songs for years and begging to put my new music in my show for MY fans…so I quit,” she added. “I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes!!!! My so-called support system hurt me deeply!!!!”
Britney then went on to address how the conservatorship has affected her life.
