Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have faced countless struggles through their years on Teen Mom OG, and many of them are things they’ll be working through their entire lives.
Tyler has shared his trauma as well as his severe mental health issues from a young age. Recently, he shared a troubling poem on Instagram, and fans were worried about his safety.
Now, Catelynn is opening up about losing a child, and the tribute she’s giving to them.
Even though Tyler has gotten real about his past time and time again, the most common way that he expresses his emotions, past and present, is through his poetry.
This time around, his poem was something he wrote “during a time when life felt very heavy.”
“Every time I look in my mind / I only find nothing but lies,” Tyler penned.
“I just want to feel / Something that is real / I don’t care if it’s pain / I just want something / I don’t want to die / I want a safe space to cry,” he went on.
“Someone please help me / Release all these memories,” Tyler begged in his poem.
“I don’t seek any pity /I just want someone to hear me / I don’t need any sympathy / I just want someone to hold me / To show me that love can be healing / Sometimes I feel so lonely / I tihnk I need some company / To save me from my thoughts / & hold this broken heart… / before it’s torn apart.”
After his poem, Ty explained, “I wrote this during a time when life felt very heavy. Writing is my safe space, but I’m sharing this in case someone out there can relate. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! YOU ARE LOVED! KEEP GOING!”
Fans wondered what specific events could have inspired this poem, and now we may have some answers.
Three days ago, Catelynn posted on Instagram about her miscarriages. She shared a quote that read, “I still imagine what might have been if you would have been a child in my arms instead of a child in my heart.”
“Our two babes in heaven,” she captioned the post. “I wonder what our life would look like.. watch over us and your sisters. We shall meet one day until then know I loved you from the beginning and always will.”
Although this doesn’t seem the reason for the couple’s distress, they have experienced a number of losses this year, from Catelynn’s great grandmother to a dear friend of theirs. 2020 has been rough, but hopefully, the two remain strong!
