WhenChris Pratt and Anna Faris announced their divorce, we thought that it was over for good. And we were right — sort of. It turns out that they’re trying really, really hard to put their son, Jack, first, which means that there two will be seeing a lot of each other — in fact, they won’t be living more than five miles apart for the next few years!
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris may be moving on with new people, but the two will still be spending a LOT of time together for the next few years. As more details of their divorce proceedings have come to light, it’s clear that the pair plan to be dedicated parents to their son — so dedicated, that they’ll be neighbors!
The pair agreed to live no more than five miles apart, until their six-year-old, Jack, is in sixth grade. If one of them does move outside of that five-mile limitation, they have to give the other party written notice at least three months in advance, and they have to give 30 days’ notice if either parent plans to take Jack out of the country.
That wasn’t the only weird part of their divorce, though. According to People, they also chose to have joint custody, no spousal support, no child support, and decided to keep a joint bank account for Jack’s expenses.
When the pair announced their separation in August of 2017, they made it clear that Jack was at the forefront of their minds.
“Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward,” the pair said in their joint statement. “We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”
