We all know that Chrissy Teigen can be the ultimate troll. Whether you’re a fan, celebrity, or even the President of the Unites States, the personality and author never hesitates to clap back. And when she pairs up with her hubby, John Legend, things go from 0 to 60 on the trollometer.
The latest joke was on Kris Jenner who called the Legends the “worst dinner guests ever.” The incident was all in good fun, but Chrissy and John may have taken things a little too far.
Last month, we told you that Chrissy Teigen freaked out on her husband, screaming curse words at him — in front of an entire studio audience! John Legend was filling in as the guest host on the Ellen DeGeneres Show this week. He seemed excited as he opened the segment, welcoming everyone after a commercial break by saying, “I am still, believe it or not, the sexiest man alive,” to the cheers of the crowd.
“Is it me, or did I get even sexier during the break? I don’t know,” he chuckled.
“Anyways, I want to thank the audience for singing ‘All of Me’,” he continued, explaining that he wrote the hit for wife, Chrissy Teigen.
After showing a fake clip of Ellen DeGeneres playing his love interest in the music video (totally worth the watch, by the way), he added, “Don’t tell Chrissy, you guys.”
“She’d be very, very jealous of Ellen,” he said, before Chrissy herself popped out of the box beside the chairs.
“What the f**k are you doing?” she screamed, and then John screamed, and then the audience screamed laughing.
It’s well known that usual host Ellen loves pranking people on through jump scares — but John OBVIOUSLY wasn’t ready for this one.
After everyone finally finished screaming, Chrissy finished apologizing for swearing, and John finished laughing, the singer joked, “You didn’t tell me you were going to be here.”
“How long were you stuck under there?” he asked.
“Like a long time,” she giggled. “You were taking a long time.”
John helped the model out of the box, and she took the seat beside him.
“What did you think of my comedy stylings?” he asked.
“You guys,” she replied, looking at the crowd, “he’s pretty good, right?”
The two continued to joke back and forth — catch the whole thing in the video above!
