After admitting to giving Demi Lovatothe drugs that led to her alleged overdose, Brandon Johnson has become a wanted man. The L.A. resident has had several brushes with the law over the past year, and after he missed an important appointment, one judge plans to make him face the music.
Brandon Johnson is in some major troubles. In July, he openly admitted to offering Demi Lovato the drugs that led to her alleged overdose. He was also the last person to see the pop star before her hospitalization. Now, TMZ has revealed that Johnson is wanted for some serious charges.
In June, Brandon was arrested for cocaine possession and a DUI. Now, the Los Angeles County D.A.’s Office has revealed that a judge has issued a bench warrant for Brandon over this incident. The court clerk said that for some reason Brandon decided to completely skip his arraignment Monday, Sept. 17, so now the judge wants him brought in to face the consequences.
The publication reported that once he is arrested, Brandon’s bail will be set at a cool $26,000.
Even though Brandon had previously spoken with TMZ about supplying Demi with illegal substances, he won’t be arrested or even investigated for that charge, as the overdose is categorized as a self-induced medical emergency.
When talking about it, Brandon was adamant that the songstress “100 percent knew what she was taking.”
“I disclosed to her that these are not pharmaceutical — they’re after-market pills. They’re much stronger. She understood fully,” Brandon said. “It’s unfortunate what happened but for people who think there’s any misconception on my behalf, it’s absolutely ridiculous. I’m not here to hurt anybody, I care for her very much, she means a lot to me.”
