If you recall, rumors had been circulating that a major argument happened between The Real Housewives of New Jersey housewives during the season finale taping, which ultimately led Joe and Melissa Gorga to skip out on Teresa Giudice’s wedding.
Now, Frank Catania is giving a little bit more truth to what really happened.
Recently, Joe and Melissa Gorga did not attend Teresa Giudice’s wedding, and many were left wondering what happened. A rumor then started circulating that Melissa was caught cheating on Joe, and an entire blowout happened between the ladies, which was caught in the final episodes that they recently just wrapped filming.
Melissa revealed some truth to this during her recent podcast, On Display. “Obviously, there was something that went down at the finale of filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
“Those exact details, I obviously cannot say today,” the 43-year-old continued. “Anything that we have filmed is something that I am not able to talk about.”
While Melissa confirmed that something did go down, “househusband” Frank Catania is also speaking on the situation as well.
During an exclusive interview with Page Six, the 54-year-old admitted that the fight went down at his ex-wife Dolores Catania and her boyfriend, Paulie Connell’s home. “We go to the party, and it was nice! You’ll see, it’s a theme party, and it was great,” he said.
He continued on to reveal that the party held was set up nicely and that everything looked great from the start, however things took a big turn.
“Listen, Paulie did an excellent job. His place was set up so beautifully … [but] we didn’t even get to all of the themes that he set up because it got so crazy.” He continued, “Let’s put it this way: There had to be people in between the women; there had to be people in between the men.”
Frank admitted that security had to get in between people as well, and he himself was also trying to break up fights. “I always try to keep the peace and calm everybody down,” he asserted. “But it’s a hard crowd to keep down!”
While many were left wondering if this fight was the reason Joe and Melissa did not attend the wedding, the New Jersey native finally gave a bit of truth to that speculation.
He confirmed, “There’s a lot that happened after the finale, which determined what happened at the wedding, which is a shame.”
