Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill‘s relationship has officially come to an end.
The two have said they plan to remain friends, but many have been wondering how they’re really doing post-divorce.
Cynthia Bailey has been getting real about her post-divorce life.
“I love Mike,” she said at the time. “I’ll always love Mike. We’re friends. I’ll miss what we had. But I’m really excited that this wasn’t like [an] ugly, horrible divorce where we couldn’t be friends. It was really important to me to not lose my friend. He’s my best friend.”
Unlike some of the uglier Housewives divorces, Cynthia shared that the reason she and Mike split up was mostly because they had been growing apart.
“In the beginning, it was the distance,” she shared. “And then, it was me going into my next chapter, transitioning into a different career. You know, he’s transitioning into different careers with job situations.”
“So we both had a lot going on, and honestly, when I left Housewives I moved to a different city, a different house, and a different career I had to focus on,” she shared.
But as we know, with reality relationships and breakups, there’s often more to the story than meets the eye. Many have been wondering whether Cynthia and Mike’s split was as amicable as they say it was, and how the two are really feeling now that their split has been finalized.
Cynthia seems to be focusing on her friendships at the moment, having shared a recent Instagram post with RHOA alum Eva Marcille. Don’t regret working so hard that you didn’t take the time to celebrate life,” she captioned the update. “Remember you only get one!”
During her WWHL appearance for BravoCon, Cynthia opened up about her life post-divorce.
“There are some changes in my family and home, I feel good,” she shared. “There’s nothing really that I want to share except that I’m not focused on my past — I’m looking forward to my future.”
When a fan asked how she’s faring, she shared, “I am doing great. Thank you so much for the wellness check.”
For Mike’s part, he seems to be dedicated to focusing on positivity as well.
