“U know the addy. Pull up anytime.”
After Lana Del Rey dubbed Kanye West’s support of Donald Trump “a loss for the culture,” Azealia Banks jumped to the rapper’s defense. Banks’ comments — namely her statement about being “tired of white women in Hollywood and their fake ass innocent agendas” — created a clear rift in her relationship with the “Young and Beautiful” crooner, as the two began arguing on Twitter.
“U know the addy. Pull up anytime. Say it to my face. But if I were you- I wouldn’t,” Del Rey tweeted. “I won’t not f**k you the f**k up. Period.”
“Banks. u coulda been the greatest female rapper alive but u blew it. dont take it out on the only person who had ur back,” the singer continued.
Banks did respond directly to Del Rey, opting instead to subtweet her fellow star.
“That will certainly drawn attention to this #CHEAPYXO account!! Hey cuties!!! Welcome to my soap shop! Azealia Sells Soap because Azealia Got Bars!!!” she tweeted. Alongside a photo of Del Rey, Banks tweeted, “Let’s talk about arm workouts today!! Example : This is an example of an aging white woman who got work done on her face, and none done on her body (where she needed it most)
Let’s walk her through some upper arm workout!”
The singer-songwriter responded, tweeting, “I’ll send you my surgeon’s number and a good psychiatrist I know in LA – your psych meds aren’t working.”
All this comes after the star added herself to the list of celebs to speak out against Kanye and Trump’s controversial relationship. The “Summertime Sadness” artist — who West’s wife Kim Kardashian considers her favorite singer — posted a lengthy comment under a photo Ye shared of himself wearing a MAGA hat.
Her “message sent with concern that will never be addressed” garnered high-praises from fellow celebs and fans.
