Leah Messer has put a lot of her life out there for fans over the years, some of which she openly regrets. Between two divorces and three kids all before the age of thirty, Leah has definitely seen a lot. And that’s not even to speak of the hardship of overcoming addiction!
But now, Leah has yet another challenge: she’s sharing that her tumor has grown.
“It’s been a few days since I had the ultrasound to see if my tumor has grown. I’m supposed to get the results soon,” Leah recently shared on Teen Mom 2. “I’m hoping I don’t need surgery,” she added.
“I can deal with it being uncomfortable if it’s not cancerous,” she said.
“Anything that could be cancerous if f–king scary. Above all, what’s scary is not being able to take care of my kids,” she explained.
It’s clear that Leah is the most worried about her kids.
“Them having such a difficult time with it is probably scarier than me going through it,” she admitted.
When Leah followed up with the physician, there was bad news in store.
“He said it had grown a half-centimeter,” Leah shared.
Luckily, she added, “But he still did not recommend surgery.”
“Although the tumor had grown it wasn’t necessarily concerning,” she told her little ones.
Luckily, this means that all signs are showing Leah’s tumor is not cancerous at this point. What a relief!
