The entire Love & Hip Hop franchise is known for explosive fights and ratchet drama. It’s very rare that there’s ever any real issues talked about on the show. However, the new, upcoming season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta will divulge into a very serious topic that’s never been addressed in the show’s history: human trafficking. One of the show’s former stars returns to tell her a story about her own experience.
Not only is Alexis Skyy known for her appearances on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood/New York, but she’s also known for her ongoing, publicized feud with former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast member and one of Fetty Wap’s babies’ mom, Masika Kalysha.
Their beef started over Fetty Wap who once dated both of the models. In 2015, Masika announced that she and then-boyfriend, Fetty, were expecting their first child together. In March 2016, the couple welcomed their baby girl, Khari Barbie Maxwell.
Soon, Masika and Fetty broke up, and the rapper began dating Alexis Skyy. In October 2017, Alexis announced that she was expecting a child of her own, naming Fetty the father. In January 2018, Alexis gave birth to her baby girl three months prematurely. A year later, her daughter, Alaiya Grace, underwent surgery for complications related to hydrocephalus, a chronic condition that causes bleeding and fluid on the brain.
Following the tragic moment, Fetty denied being the father of Alaiya but said he will always love her. Alexis was accused of not knowing who fathered her child and has yet to disclose that information.
Recently, who fathered Alexis’ baby became far from anyone’s concern after the reality star revealed some very disturbing news. On Monday (March 9), Alexis took to Instagram to share a clip of the trailer for the new season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. In the video, the subject on human trafficking came up and Alexis is seen talking to a group of people and crying to cast member, Spice.
In the caption, Alexis explained the scene in the video, revealing that she was a victim of human trafficking.
