We got a mama bear over here!
Kylie Jenner is many things, but “laid-back mom” isn’t one of them!
According to those close to her, the E! celeb, Life of Kylie star, lip kit queen, and Instagram star is anything but relaxed when it comes to protecting baby Stormi. Sources are saying that this mama bear has strict rules about who is allowed to come to her home to meet the littlest KarJenner lady and what they have to do before being introduced.
The star, who kept her pregnancy as close to the chest as possible for someone of her level of fame, is said to be doing the same with her child now that she’s arrived. Here’s the full scoop on Kylie’s mommy rules!
Mama Bear on the Loose!
Kylie Jenner took great pains to ensure that her journey to motherhood was private ― and now she’s doing the same with baby Stormi Webster. The 20-year-old mother is said to be keeping Stormi under lock and key and only allowing approved friends and family to meet her daughter.
“You have to go to her house to visit,” an insider told Us Weekly in a recent scoop. “She’s being very careful about keeping the baby healthy and indoors,” they said adding that Kylie is a total “germaphobe” when it comes to her baby. The source also spilled that Kylie keeps a strict list of people who are allowed to meet her baby girl!
Born to Be a Mom
While her pregnancy came as a surprise to many fans, another source also told Us that the reality star is “a really natural mom[…] You can tell she feels complete now that she has a baby.”
They’re not the only one saying it, either. When asked how she felt about Kylie’s decision to be such a young mother, momager Kris Jenner seemed to agree that her youngest is settling into motherhood like a pro.
“I think she was just born to have kids. I felt like I was the same way,” Kris shared in a previous interview with the outlet. “I wanted to have a baby when I was 16 years old. I thought about how many kids I would have. So I think that some people are just … when you know, you know.”
These reports from those close to the star run in opposition to initial criticisms Kylie experienced when Stormi arrived. Just after the Feb. 1 birth of her daughter, Kylie was under fire for hiring a team of nannies to help care for her newborn. While the star initially intended to rely on close family and friends to help raise her daughter, she quickly changed her tune and opted to look outside the KarJenners for childcare. A team of nannies doesn’t make someone look like a mama bear, that’s for sure, and outlets ran with it.
Even so, those close to her were singing her praises as a mother at the time.
“With the support and abilities she has to hire nannies and assistants, she’s been a really, really great mom,” a source told People. “She’s incredibly doting and hands-on as a mom. She’s always been very maternal.”
