Congratulations to the future mamma (again)!
This Real Housewives star just announced that she is expecting another baby after recently welcoming one not too long ago. Her video announcement is the cutest thing ever, and we can’t wait to meet the new little one!
Back in February, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp gave birth to a baby girl named Dove. Since then, she’s been keeping fans in the loop with updates about her infant daughter, who underwent neurosurgery over the summer.
“Dealing with anxiety, especially when in the ‘public eye,’ isn’t easy; and going into July it’s at an all-time high. I was torn as to whether I should share this information, but as someone who tries to be as transparent as possible, and knowing I have a platform to reach others in similar situations, I would like to update you all,” Teddi wrote in a lengthy Instagram caption. “Our sweet baby Dove was diagnosed with Lambdoid Craniosynostosis and has to undergo neurosurgery at the end of the month.”
The RHOBH star continued to explain that Dove was previously misdiagnosed with a different condition.
“We are so grateful to have an amazing team of doctors and surgeons who have caught this early and will be working on her,” Teddi explained. “Originally, like Cruz before her, we thought Dove had Torticollis and would likely need a doc band for re-shaping. Instead a CT scan showed Lambdoid Craniosynostosis (Lambdoid craniosynostosis is a very rare type of non-syndromic craniosynostosis and occurs when one of the lambdoid sutures at the back of the head fuses before birth).”
As nerve-wracking as having a child undergo surgery can be, it cannot be easy to know your infant will have to spend an extended time in the hospital amid a global pandemic. But since the surgery, Teddi has shared plenty of photos of her infant daughter who appears to be recovering just fine!
And now, we’re excited to welcome another baby into the Real Housewives community!
Ashley Darby of The Real Housewives of Potomac is pregnant with her second child!
“There’s no hiding this big belly anymore! We are elated to share our news with you! To say we are thankful is an absolute understatement,” she wrote on an Instagram video.
And it seems like Ashley has loved being a mother so far! At the end of August, she shared a lengthy message for Black Breastfeeding Week.
